For those new to the term, the blue economy is all about using our ocean and its resources in a sustainable way. It’s a fast-growing sector, projected to reach $3 trillion by 2030.
It’s also a central focus of the United Nations Ocean Decade, which is mobilising global action for a healthier ocean.
When I first began exploring the blue economy, I noticed that it can often feel too scientific or tucked away in niche reports. Blue Tide was created to change that.
